If you are using Friendly Analytics Professional or Enterprise, we strongly recommend integrating tracking using the Friendly Analytics Tag Manager.
This is the best way to customize your tracking and take advantage of all the options offered by Friendly Analytics Professional or Enterprise.
If you only want to use basic tracking for a single website, you can also use the simplified integration for WordPress, Wix or Squarespace, for example.
For analytics professionals, on the other hand, we recommend the procedure on this page.

What is a tag manager?
A tag manager is like a toolbox for a website.
There are many little helpers on a website that measure things. These little helpers are called “tags”. Many systems such as Google Ads or Meta Ads have their own tags.
The Tag Manager is like a manager who organizes these helpers. It helps to put all the helpers in the right place so that they can do their work. Without the manager, the helpers would all have to be put in place individually (usually manually by IT), which would take much longer.
The good thing is that the Tag Manager from Friendly Analytics is already preconfigured to include Friendly Analytics tracking as the first “tag”.
This means that integrating tracking via the Tag Manager is not much more work than integrating tracking without the Tag Manager – and you benefit from the numerous possibilities that a Tag Manager offers.

Please click on “Tag Manager” in the main navigation and make sure that the correct website is selected:
Select “Install code”:

If you have multiple website environments (such as dev, staging and live), you can generate a separate code for each environment. Otherwise, leave the environment set to “Live”.

Please copy the code displayed for the tag manager:
Now insert the code in the <head> section of each page of your website, or ask a developer to do it for you – that's it.
