We can import almost all historical data from Google Analytics into Friendly Analytics. Because this is a manual process, we only charge for our effort.

The added value is that you can access the imported data via Friendly Analytics for an unlimited period of time, even if Google deletes it at some point or you have it deleted by Google for data protection reasons.

Please note that for technical reasons, we cannot import Google Analytics data into existing website properties in Friendly Analytics. Instead, the imported data will appear as a separate “archive website”.

Importing historical data from Google Analytics into a Friendly Analytics or Matomo website property would not make sense either, because the two tools track slightly differently. So, comparing data from Google Analytics and Friendly Analytics directly in a single website property would be like comparing apples and oranges.
