Friendly plays extremely well with other CRM systems, and perfectly serves its purpose as a lead warming tool. In this guide I'll show you how to connect Pipedrive with the help of a simple plugin, that is pre-installed in your Friendly account.

Get your API credentials

Log into Pipedrive, click on your icon, choose personal preferences and enter the API tab.

Your API credentials are shown in the middle. Copy them and head back to Friendly Automate.

Go to Settings - Plugins and choose Pipedrive:

By opening the plugin you can enter your

  1. Pipedrive URL: this is your URL, what you use to open pipedrive, but you need to add v1 at the end of the URL. It looks like this:
<https://yourcompany.pipedrive.com/v1>
  1. and API token: this is what you just copied in the previous step.

Create webhooks

Don't fill out anything else, we need to create the webhooks first in Pipedrive. So let's go back and create them:

https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/secure.notion-static.com/4f1863ac-dce5-4832-a377-ec6bc3f0e6df/Untitled.png

Now you will need to add your new webhook, and create a user, that has access to it. It doesn't have to be a real user, just a login and password, which will be used to connect to Friendly.

Click on Create New to create one:

In order to make sure, that Pipedrive notifies Friendly upon contact addition and modification (and all other activites), you can choose * (star sign). This setting will call all updates to be synched with Friendly Automate. Do it for Event action and Event object.

Then add a user name and password to be associated with the webhook.
